Module II dove into one of the foundational elements of human interaction: food. Since we're in New York, we tackled pizza! Marianne Dougherty, head chef at Murray Hill Conference center, walked us through the elements of a good dough base, the importance of gluten, and the patience needed to make the perfect pie.
She also helped us see that good food is one way of bringing people together. We can show love for another person in small details, whether it's making sure the tomatoes are fully pureed or shaping the pizza into an interesting design.
