Participants watched Sherry Turkle’s TED talk on “Connecting, but Alone?” and discussed what making a connection entails in building a relationship as well as the value of being vulnerable in a conversation. They had the opportunity to practice being vulnerable with each other by using conversation starters that immediately brought them to the heart of the matter.
