In this session, Module 3 discussed the principle that for every human being to flourish, they need their basic human needs fulfilled as well as to fulfill their emotional and spiritual needs to reach happiness. Afterwards, Grace Pérez-Benzo, who is in her final year at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she is completing a medical degree in combination with a master’s degree in clinical research, came to speak about her path in medicine. She told Module 3 about her experience in discovering her calling to the medical field as well as other occupations that are not as well known, but are very necessary, in the medical field.
