Human Rights, Freedom and Tolerance

Past Sessions

2018-2019

The Senior Seminar welcomed Weronika Janczuk, a literary agent at D4EO Literary Agency with a B.A. from NYU in the Philosophy of the Human Person. She spoke on the topic of Freedom and the insights into the nature of freedom stemmed from the previous session’s discussion on the human person. The girls remarked on the difference between freedom of choice and interior freedom - the use of freedom that leads us to be more free. These themes were made especially clear during the breakout session when they discussed a college situation and identified ways in which they could bring the true, the good, and the real into their reasoning.
